I noticed on FS lots of baptisms in Almondbury but didn't see one in Kirkheaton.


Looks as though I'll have to get two death certificates.

Looking at the death certificate for Jacob Barraclough I notice no mention of spouse so abode and occupation and age the only clues.

Census has 'Blacking maker' and certificate has 'dyer' but name Jacob stands out.

I'll keep Betty on the list but won't take pot luck with James.
