Does anybody know anything about a family called Alt or Allt or Allt can be Ault they have used all these spellings they all seem to call the children by the same names and I am getting bogged down. Am Serching for the next link back of a John Allt married to a Mary circa he born 1812 she 1813.
Would appreciate any links people have to Breedon Family history groups ???

Is the Breedon on the Hill, the one near Ashby de las zouch, near east midlands airport?

Have you had a look at the local archives / record office for the parish register?
Not sure if it was under Ashby or Melbourne though!

I have a john Ault believed to have possibly originated from Doveridge, Derbys. He married a Elizabeth Tivey from Breedon on the hill. John c 17.12.1732 Doveridge m 22.08.1759 breedon on the hill.
Is it possible your john 1812 maybe the son of john and Elizabeth.
John and Elizabeth have a daughter mary ault who marries a henry frost.
From here my line gets very complicated as henry and marys son charles frost starts to use his mothers surname of ault at different periods. Hence my surname of Ault not Frost.
