Re: Bridget KEATING

Thanks Geoff.

I said 'too late' for Patrick meaning Bridget's father's arrival if she had been born here.

That could be her arrival. I don't know if her marriage was RC or not. Her burial was RC. Don't know if marriage of her son Ambrose junior was RC or not or if his burial was RC or not because I've not found it.

Re: Bridget KEATING

Birth 9741/1870 SEERY UNNAMED - PATRICK - ANN - GOULBURN

That's not the Patrick who arrived 1874. Can see no marriage for the 1874 one. He may have died two years after arriving:

9596/1876 SEERY PATRICK - PATRICK - MARY - QUEANBEYAN

Same names for parents but common names.

Marriage but can't be Bridget's parents:

1985/1866 SEERY PATRICK - GRAY ANNE - GOULBURN

Here is the death of the John - brother in colony:

Re: Bridget KEATING

Bridget, Patrick and John all ended up near Queanbeyan.

We need a direct descendant with the family Bible.

Thanks gibbo.

Bungendore Cemetery
Seery, Patrick, b. Balymote Ireland, d. 30 Jan 1876, age: 27 yrs, parents: Patrick & Mary, bur. Catholic Sec., headstone

That has to be the Patrick who arrived 1874.

Does the shipping record have 'None' in the columm for Relations in Colony for Bridget?
