Baptisms
V18371535 32A/1837 BRIGGS FRANCES - WILLIAM - MARY

All Saints County of Camden 1847
No. 326 6 Novr. 1847 - 15th April 1837 Frances William and Mary Briggs - Port Phillip - Labourer - W. Stone

W. Stone was the minister in the Southern Highlands of NSW - the abode is recorded as Port Phillip (Melbourne) and the birth was in 1837. There is nothing in the record that indicates place of birth. Even for those born England and baptised in NSW pob is not listed. We can't tell from this record where Frances was born or even where she was baptised. We don't know if the minister travelled to Port Phillip with his All Saints register or if the family was actually in NSW in 1847.

V18372929 32A/1837 BRIGGS FRANCES - WILLIAM - MARY
ditto - in the index twice

V18422342 33A/1842 BRIGGS EMMA - WILLIAM - MARY

Christ Church Bong Bong County of Camden 1848
No. 33 2 or 12 July [margin] 1848 - Supposed 1842 Her parents being dead - Emma William and Mary Briggs - Abode: ? - [Suborn ?] - W. Stone

Same CofE minister for baptism of Emma but abode column is blank. Profession is either 'Suborn' or Labourer although the 'S' does not look like 'L' on the page and the word not like other 'Labourer' on the page.

There are no deaths in NSW index 1842-1848 for Mary or William BRIGG/BRIGGS. ???
