I would imagine there are plenty of hidden images on 100's of church walls, when they were white washed over during Cromwells time, and after the dissillusion of the monasteries in Henry V111's time.

I've seen a good few uncovered in the small churches in Buckinghamshire.:)

What channel is it on, and what day and time Lee.

Part 2 this evening..9pm.:)
An excellent programme. I gave "The Time Traveller's Guide To Elizabethan England " a miss to watch it; I was not disappointed. A pity so little of Glyndwr's Sytharch remains. Castell Coch is worth a visit ... spent many a happy hour there when I was younger.

Looking forward to next week's episode. I like the medieval / tudor houses best. :)
