burials and cremations at St Helens,

I've found several people from our family, I was looking up burial records for the area and found the site. Theres not many council sites that have a search function.
My aunt visited the exact spot where grandparents and great grand parents were burried just by using the references given and the person who showed her the area knew exactly where the graves were. Sadley there were no stones left although the chap cleared a little earth away to see if the stones had been laid down.
They are very helpful at the cemetery in finding ancestral graves.

Oliver Cromwell is supposed to be buried in the Chancery part of the cemetery

It's a pity more councils haven't followed suit
