Burkitt family Lincs/Notts

Hi ! I am busy researching the Burkitt family who settled at a farm near Alford in Lincolnshire (near Mumby). My maternal great-grandfather was Herbert Burkitt who died in 1945 at Markby. The family has been traced back to a Charles Burkitt who married Anne Johnson 3.7.1721 in Walkeringham. They had three sons, Richard, John and William. The son Richard married Ann Bagnall - children were christened in Owston, but the family moved to Grimblethorpe. I am trying to find the place of birth for Charles - I believe that they may be linked to the Laxton Burkitts. If anyone can help, please contact me through this website. Thank you !
