Hello,

George BUTCHART b. ? d. aft 1834

married ?

Christina HANNA b. ? d. aft 1834

Known children:

Christina b. abt 1820
Jean b. abt 1824 Polmont, Stirling
Janet Finlay b. 1831 Cadder, Lanark

I'd like a look up for the family in 1841 please.

Hello Julie,

Thanks for looking.

Yes, I had that one:

Christina BUTCHARD & James COCKBURN
4 Jun 1853 Low Church, Paisley, Renfrew
Husband Age at Marriage: 45
Wife Age at Marriage: 33

Jean's marriage:

James ARRAL & Jean BUTCHARD
16 Jun 1843 Abbey (Paisley), Renfrew, Scotland

Jean has not been found yet in 1841 and Christina has not been found in 1841 or 1851. I have nothing at all yet for the other two sisters, no marriage and no death.

Regards,

Dave

Hello Julie,

I've searched all of Scotland in 1841 in FreeCEN for variations of the name. I found 90% were born in Angus. :D

I can't see a Christina / Christian or a Jean / Jane / Janet yet that fits.

I still wonder if George was in the army.

Regards,

Dave
