I have added 2 photos, which I have traced to Market Place in Southwell Nottinghamshire. Can anyone help by adding anything? date? names?
all I know is that my Great grandfather William Brown (known as Butcher Brown according to a local history book,) owned this buitchers shop in Southwell, apparently a successful shop, his son, George, moved to Shropshire (Wem) married Rose in 1905, but does anyone know his sister Lucy or Sissie?
I have followed the census from 1881 -1911 George and Sissie appear and disappear during this time.
