Hi does anyone have any information on the Bygrave or Rowland family that were Fish dealers living near Looe Street near the Barbican Plymouth.

I believe the mother's in two generations were called Ellen.

Any info would be great

Many thanks

Known as Rowland on the 1911 Census at How Street

Known as Bygrave on the 1881 Census at Norwich Street ?

1891 Census ?

1901 Census ?

But I'm told Looe Street

Ellen Mother, Daughters Ellen, Gladys, Winifred, Florence and Robert

Ellen Grandmother, Sister Elizabeth, Brothers Thomas and Charlie

Ellen Great Grandmother married to Thomas Bygrave ?

Does this help

Free BMD have a Gladys bn Plymouth dec qtr 1905 as Rowland, no maiden name, as you know at this time.
Also a Robert 1907 and a Winifred in 1910 both as Rowland.

The census between 1910 & 1912 is a paid site, members are not allowed to list info otherwise subs could be cancelled.
However you can search for free for names.
Good luck.
