There are quite a few Cairns on the census but here's Thomas Hood in 1901.

thankyou for taking the time to look for my rellies.
Thomas Hood Cairns was indeed my father:) I am so hooked on the family history thing.
My next quest is to access my fathers service records for ww1, i have his medals and number.
He was one of the lucky ones who came home.
