I have been tirelessly searching all records for months for the following people but can't find anything much. Can anyone help at all?

This is the facts I have on these people from certficates/census so far.

George Rice
In 1868 named on birth certificate of daughter Elizabeth, occ. Private M.S. Staff Corps. Living in Plumstead, London.
In 1872 named on son Albert's birth certificate, Occ. Corporal army service corps.
On 1881 Census - born abt. 1839 in London, Middlesex. Living at Woolwich Dockyard. Occ. Army Corps. Marred to Eliza with children Elizabeth & James
By 1893 occ. police warder (Daughter Elizabeth's marriage cert)
By 1904 occ. Pensioner (Son Albert's marriage certificate)

I can't locate him on any other census', can't locate his birth, marriage or death certificate and am totally stumped.

Eliza Hinstridge
Wife of George Rice. Maiden name found on son & daughter's birth certificates.
Found on 1881 census, recorded as born in 1848 in Islington.
I have no further infomation, no BMD certs and no census returns

I could order the birth certificate of their 2nd child James as well as his death certificate as he died a couple of years later but not sure it would give me any more information.

John Beech
Named on his son Arthur's birth certificate in 1897. Occ. Merchant Seaman in Portsmouth
Marriage certificate for John Beech in 1893, age 29. Occ. Rigger H.M Dockyard, Portsmouth. Father John Rice, occ. prep fitter (not very clear)
Possible Navy record names a John Beech born 1st Dec 1863 in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Gives his naval records, ships, etc and year of leaving Navy as 1908.
Death Certificate 1909 age 44 years. Occ. Formerly a naval seaman in Royal Navy.

Again, I can find no birth certificate and no census records for him.

If anyone can advise or help in any way I would be eternally grateful as would my Dad, as this is his side of the family that I have had no joy with at all.

Hi Angie,

I could be barking up the wrong tree on this, see what you think.

In 1861 there is a Elizabeth Henstridge g/daughter born abt 1851/Hoxton

Class RG9
Piece 236
Folio 85
Page 33

In 1851 she is with her grandparents and parents Robert and Martha Belcher.

Class H0107
Piece 1535
Folio 95

Cant seem to find the Robert and Martha in 1861 so far.
