SMH Tuesday 2 June 1846
Married at Gunning by special licence on the 19th instant by the Rev R Cartwright, John Brougham Esq to Caroline Amelia, third daughter of the late John Kennedy Esq of Keswycke.
And Caroline’s death – The Argus Thursday 11 April 1878
BROUGHAM – on the 10th inst at 14 Hoddle Street, Caroline Amelia wife of John Brougham sen, aged 54 years.

Caroline Amelia born 4 October 1824 and baptised 29 March 1925 at St. Peter's Campbelltown.

John Brougham acquired a half share in Poolamacca in 1889 and later secured the lease outright. Brougham remained at Poolamacca until 1915 when he moved to Adelaide.

I'd better look in the NSW index.

I'l trying to work out if Brougham is not Broughton. Connected by their marriages but not brothers, cousins etc ...
