Lookup thanks for a birth reg for Caroline Granshaw born 9th January 1870. Can't see her in Freebmd or GRO.

Found a baptism, schooling, death & have her in 1939. Can't see her in 1871, 1881, 1891, 1901, 1911.

Spelling variations and transcription errors play a big role in the surname.

The marriage is on FreeBMD and St James the great, Bethnal Green, but I can't access the image for some some reason :rolleyes:

So no actual proof!

Seen the image now, if you need a copy let me know..

One witness wont be helpful [Emma Edwards] she is most likely a church official; she appears on other records. Both fathers = deceased. Can't read John's occ, he was a packer in 1871.
