I know this is a bit of a long shot but im trying to find a missing family member.

Catherine Mckenna b. 1860 Linl victoria australia (surname spelt as mckinnon on birth, death & marraiges victoria). Also known as Kate

Her parents are mary tyrell & james mckenna.

Wondering if anyone can find her coming over to england.

If she came over to england it would have possibly been through Western Australia or Victoria
Her brother owen died in england as a result of some illness

Who appears to be your Catherine tho not really sure what you are looking for. Did you have her death or just looking for her going to England?
Mother's maiden name is wrong and age is out a little but that would have depended on who the informant of death was and how much they knew, the death notice has listed her siblings.

Event registration number 1903
Registration year 1941
Family name MCKENNA
Given names Catherine
Father's name MCKENNA James
Mother's name Mary (Mccormick)
Place of birth NOTTING HILL
Place of death NOTTING HILL
Age 73

Catherine's death notice

Catherine MCKENNA. Date of grant: 03 Apr 1941; Date of death: 27 Feb 1941; Occupation: Spinster; Residence: Notting Hill.,

There appears to be a number of offspring to James Mckenna & Mary Tyrell.. there looks to be 2x offspring for a James Mckinnon & Mary Tyrill.. That said, there are gaps, so Mckinnon could be just be an error.

This is the only Owen I can find so far..

Owen McKinnon

Is she listed on her parents death certificates?
Found part of the answer myself

There is a marriage for James McKenna in Victoria in 1846 to Mary Tyrell (various spellings in indexes). From the death certificate and the Victorian indexes their children are: William 1845, Elizabeth 1846, Sarah 1846, Thomas 1850, Owen c1852 , Peter c1852, Catherine c1860, Mary c1864, and James 1848 deceased. James died, aged 85, in 1907 at Penshurt, Victoria and was buried in the Boram Boram Cemetery by Rev Fr Walsh. James had been born in Monaghan and spent 66 years in Victoria (making his arrival c1841). His father is stated as Owen and his mother as unknown.

Hi Nathaniel, You posted a "long shot" and so am I. I think in some odd way my mother was related to Catherine McKenna. I checked her funeral notice and she was buried from the same church where my mother was married. It is all a little indistinct as my mother (who died in 1984) was quite closed mouthed about her spinster aunts - Catherine and Elizabeth McKenna. They lived in Notting Hill, and my mother lived with them and a bachelor Uncle ?name. Do you think there is a connection? Would love to hear from you. I live in NSW and not Victoria
