I would like to thank all those at the Centre for Buckinghamshire Studies, for all their invaluable help they gave me the last few weeks.
Nothing was too much bother for them, they are absolute stars.
Also the members of the Bucks Family History Society who are, at present, transcribing the parish records for Monks Risborough, Bucks, which I so desperately need to 'finish' (I hope) the paternal side of my family.
They also 'took me back' several generations and smashed a brickwall for me.
They have my most sincere thanks.

Hi Steve

Glad they have helped you. I recently came across a marriage of two Oxfordshire residing ancestors who actually wed at Twyford in Buckinghamshire in 1811 although I havent yet got the original PR entry though. I wonder if the bride was from there as the groom George Brain was born in Bletchingdon in Oxfordshire.

Ben
