Hi all Jane Cooper b1873 married Arthur Chalk b1871 in1894.South Stoneham.
Elizabeth Chalk b1810 married Joseph Golding b1806 in1813 Downton Wiltshire
George Cooper b1793 married Sarah Chalk b1798 in1817 southamton st mary.
As you can see I have Chalk's on both side's the only ones I can find is ARTHUR . has any one come across them in your searches.

I found this couple in 1851 census under GOULDING with 4 children, would you like the details.

Yes thankyou it look's right I keep thinking there has to be a conection between all the Chalk's in my Cooper & Golding tree and can not find it .

Thankyou crankypants this is the right one's I need to find Elizabeth 's parent's then follow them forward to see if it's the same Chalk 's in both
family's by the way the Feyer visitor is in my tree to. John is Mary Cooper
[nee golding] cousin.

Nathanial b 1805 John b1808 William b1812 Samuel 1815.
George Goulding b1835 his son George Harry Golding had Mary Golding who is my ggrandmother. I have bits of Chalk info when they married into the Cooper or Golding line but lose them in between thankyou I think I have looked at it so long I can not see the wood for the tree's

Hi Glen,just to let you be aware that Downton is a village on the outskirts of Salisbury in Wiltshire,about twenty miles from Southampton.

Hope you and the wife is keeping well GD.

Thanks Lee I'll have to Google and see what I can find out. My Golding's were Goulding and gg grandfather George Harry Golding left the the u out when he moved to Southampton. Jude & I are well got the fires going and stew on the kitchen fire I quite enjoy winter in the New England.
