Can't see any births in NSW index that look to fit. Born Glebe age 32. ??

It does look more like middle name is Eva not Ann.

Deaths in NSW index 1900 - 1924 no Mary E Grant. And 2x John J but a long way from Sydney.

Yeah, not an easy one, Dave.. Perhaps one to chip away at from time to time.

I've checked the 1903 and 1913 can see John'/Joseph' and Mary' but none together at the same address [no carpenters]. They were both dec. in 1924, as you say with no deaths yet, difficult to confirm anything.
