Hi, thanks for sending your information. The reason I am thinking there is a Great Yarmouth connection is that my father always said that Charles John Brooke went to the Yarmouth School of Art on the River Yare and we have a postcard from that time. I will try and scan it tomorrow and send it to you. Thank you for your help! Cheryl Cramer Briard PS I just found out today that one of Charles John Brooke's daughters (He and Annie Dean Scovel had two daughters) had the middle name of Garnham, her name was Evelyn Garnham Brooke and the other daughter (my Grandmother) was named Marguerite Dean Brooke. I thought Garnham might be a clue to the Brooke mystery.
