THORNE.-June 2, 1924, at Kurryula, Muston-street, Mosman, Thomas Walter, dearly-loved husband of Agnes Thorne, and son of the late Charles Nuttal Thorne, in his 80th year. (Late of Gunning.)

On His Marriage at St Thomas in Parish of St Johns Canada has he was a merchant C of E and residing at Harbour Grace in 1843, Frederica was from St John’s.

Canada Seafarers of the Atlantic Provinces – Charles Nuttall Thorne at Harbour Grace Conception Bay Newfoundland Canada – Owner/shares of Vessels Name “Ann”, “Gertrude” , “Water Lily”, plus couple of others.... so would say by 1841 he was in Canada.

He was back in UK for birth of daughter Frederica Bryly (Bayley) Thorne – Newington Vol 4 page 378 Dec qtr 1846 then in NSW by April 1848 for birth of daughter Emily Elizabeth Thorne

Frederica married Hon George Frederick Belcher MLC of Murchison Geelong 28 Aug 1875 Vic – she died 7 March 1881 – 4 children

and Emily Elizabeth didn’t marry, she died 1st Aug 1927 Vic
