HO107 Piece/Book 1064/10 Folio 20A page 35
Civil Parish: St Mary Newington

James Yeend 30 Box Maker Y
William 13 Y
James 8 Y
Robert 6 N
Charles 5 N
George 1 N

Charles baptised Surrey but not born Surrey ?? Or all the 'N' should be 'Y' in that census?

The 1844 shipping record has Surrey as origin for Ann and all the children and Gloucestershire for James senior.

The only Yeend baptism I can find with parents William and Edith is for Henry, baptised Cheltenham 17 March 1811 and buried there 9 August 1812.

Census
1841
HO107/353/8/F26/p8
Marsh Lane
Elizabeth Yeend 55 Laundress
Charles Yeend 22 Labourer
Mary Yeend 20 Laundress
Jane Yeend 16
James Yeend 10 mths

In the preceding house
William Yeend 25
William Yeend 4 mths
Elizabeth Yeend 28

I think the Enumerator got carried away and having written Elizabeth Yeend 28 he then started the next household with Elizabeth Yeend instead of Edith.

In 1851 Edith gives pob as Charlton. There is an Edith Tibbels baptised 12 September 1784 in Charlton Kings, parents William and Judith

There is a marriage in Cheltenham 6 February 1808 between an Edith Tible and a William Young

Edith Yeend died Sep 1960 Cheltenham 6d 197 aged 77.
