I don't think that William's father was a James Beech. The only baptism I can find is a transcription which gives his father's name as Jenes (James?) Curteis, Curteis being the surname.

A year after William is born a Hannah Beach marries a Henry Barns 27 December 1817 in Benenden. The witnesses are William Beach and Jarvis Munn. Jarvis could well be a brother to the Thomas Munn father of Charlotte, thus giving a link between the two families.

Thanks emeltee.

I'm not sure. I can't see how Munn is read as Warren, but the year 1814 fits, as does Staplehurst, and Thomas, a shoemaker.
