Chelsfield, Kent, Civil Defence. 1940.

Does not help my family history, but thought it might be of interest to show what can be found in village shops?
The photo below in Chelsfield (Kent) Civil Defence in 1940. Seems to have a larger female contingent than Captain Mainwaring Home Guard? Also uniform does not look like Home Guard.
I am told the hut behind them still exists.

The Civil defence were non combatants. Home guard were.

Found the post card for a few pence in a local sub post-office.
Now all I need is to find one of Hyde Park Home Guard, especially of the Z batteries personnel!
