Several of my ancestors were chimney sweeps and I have written a short book about their lives and the history of sweeps. It is called My Chimney Sweep Ancestors, published by Shadow Publishing. Although it is a personal history, it contains a lot of information about sweeps in general. If anybody is interested please contact me via the forum.
