Question: Is Samuel with age probably rounded down in 1841 the father of those children?

He'd have to be about 34 rounded down.

Going by age in the census he would have only been approx 16 when Alfred was born. I guess it might depend on how much his age might have been round down. Or maybe if someone can check the actual image and see what it has on it.

It won't have his real age. It will have the rounded down age.

It looks as though both Samuel and son Alfred married young.

This is another one where we have 4 generations and it's way off any of my main lines.

The gap is the death of Eveline.

Interesting that Samuel was b. Wiltshire, m. Dorset, lived in Wiltshire 1841.

A tree has an alleged 2nd marriage in 1839 to a Prudence Andrews in Wiltshire, I can't see them in 1851 yet, but Prudence is around in 1861.

This would put his birth at 1804, d. Dec 1858. Dates are a bit out

Samuel Chown

Burial Date: 1 Jan 1859
