Hello. My name is Andrew James and I live in Kemerton, Worcestershire. I am heading up a small team of villagers researching those people from World War 1 who are commemorated on our war memorial. The Farrer brothers are two of those. I wondered if anybody had any photos or information concerning them that you might be able to share, or if you know someone who has. Or if a relative can verify some of the information we have already discovered.

Related to me by Caroline Cameron (born in New Zealand and now residing in Washington DC):

Briefly, their parents, my great grand parents, emigrated to New Zealand in the late 1800s. My great grandfather (Matthew George Farrer) was the second son in his family, and decided to seek his fortune in New Zealand, which he did not find. He and his wife (Caroline Rachel Farrer) and daughter returned to England at some stage. Their five sons (including Christopher and Thomas) remained in New Zealand.
