Looking for Clare/Clara in 1861 thanks.

Can't find her before the 1871 Census. I have found her baptism though - 15 May 1859 Wiveliscombe, parents David, a Quarryman, and Mary.

David Farmer died 1866 in Wiveliscombe aged 39 (yob c1828)
Thanks Emeltee.

So David could be Ann's brother.

Births Jun 1859 FARMER Clara Selina - Wellington S. 5c 414 mmn MILTON
David Farmer married Mary Farmer in Taunton 21 March 1858. He was 30 she was 38. His father William, hers George. Witnesses were Frederick Dyer and Jane Chun.

David was buried Wiveliscombe 19 September 1866 and Mary buried same place 28 July 1866 which explains why Clara was with her Uncle and Aunt in 1871.
Thanks Emeltee.

If that is the right marriage then I can't find a birth reg for Clara/Clare that fits.

Mary Milton married William Farmer in Wiveliscombe 5 November 1837. She was 20, he was 21. His father William Farmer hers George Milton. When she married David her father was down as George Farmer, presumably because at that time her surname was Farmer and possibly the Vicar didn't ask if it was her maiden name. If she hadn't said she was a widow (not sure if marrying your dead husband's brother was legal then) he would possibly presume Farmer was her maiden name.

William Farmer baptised 25 May 1817, Wiveliscombe, parents William and Ann so highly Likely he was David's elder brother. Unfortunately I can't see a death for William.
