my first time, so here goes. I am trying to find the parents of Hamlett Clarke born 1692 (i think) In Keyham Leicestershire. thanks

There is a submitted record on familysearch for a Hamlet Clarke christening 24 Apr 1792 Syston Leics, no parents names given. Though the submitter has given a date this should always be checked against the original record. Syston dosnt look to far from Keyham

Thanks for getting back to me.

Have to check my records about the Syston Hamlet. No I don't think it is far from Keyham. I think my family started Keyham, Syston, leicester and then Oadby. Pretty easy to follow really.

I can't find anything in the IGI but did find this for 1692.

Syston parish registers-christening-Hamlet Clark 24 April 1692
Father Edmend Clark mother Mary.
May not be yours , not sure how far Syston is from Keyham but may be from same family group.

Was there no maiden name for Mary?
