Hello,

James COCHRAN(E) - mason journeyman

married Jane WYLIE - rough guess 1815 probably Lanark.

I can't find the mariage or the birth of children who married in mid 1830s. Information taken from the death certificate of their daughter Elisabeth.

I'd like a look up for the family in 1841 please. I have looked on FreeCEN.

Regards,

Dave

Hello,

I'm reasonably sure the two names from the death certificate are as recorded.

Seems there is no marriage and no records of the birth of the three known children. The only death I can find is that of one of the children. There is no sign of James or Jane in 1841 census so it looks as though both died before the census.

Result: Brick wall. :(

Regards,

Dave
