During my search for family members i have come across on my fathers side twin second cousins, twin aunt and uncle and on my mothers side i have twin second cousins and twin cousins. Were twins that common?

In my hubby's family there were 9 kids, 6 boys and 3 girls. Out of the 6 boys 3 of them married a "Sandra". They were known as Sandra 1 [the first to come into the family] and Sandra 2 [the 2nd to come into the family] etc. None of the Sandra's had 2nd names and as they married brothers all 3 had the same surname. They all lived in the same town and there had been confusions with doctors [all 3 used the same doc],etc over the years. Thankfully the Sandra's had different dates of birth and I bet they used their birth and marriage cert on more than one occasion!
