Hi Everyone!

Would somebody be able to help me please? I am looking for birth details of a; John Conley, who was born around; 1870, in; Stargate, Durham. I can find him from; 1891 onwards, but nothing before. I know he married an Annie Brown. Could somebody help me please?

Do you have his parents names? That will help in finding the right one in 1871 and 1881.

There are several births in Co Durham 1869 - 1871 but this one includes Ryton and Stargate.

There are others also in Gateshead with different spelling so can't be sure given the marriage does not have CONLEY.

With the possible variations in the spelling of the name as heard it's difficult deciding which of 3x John is the right one in 1871 and 1881.
