Thanks for looking.

I'm not sure because it looks from the baptisms that there are two COOK(E) families with parents James & Ann although I can find only one marriage. Some with some without the E.

Hannah 26 Mar 1831 and Matthew 22 May 1831

One on 7 May 1837 and another on 2 Jul 1837.

No baptism there for a Betsy/Betty.

A baptism for Elizabeth in 1849.

Ja?? would be Jane and no sign of James in 1851. He is the one I'm tracing if I have the right family.

His death does not help:

I can't see from his marriage and death certificates how that tree author came up with those parents and hence his birth in Ashton in 1840.
