i am recently new to the world of family history research its one of those things i've planned to do for some time but never got around to it.
my research so far places my family from the lewisham and lower sydenham area of london my great grandparents were george coombes and frances mary coombes (formaly saunders) george was a platelayer on the railway frances was from a large family all from lewisham area though her father thomas saunders was born acoording to census in great yarmouth
my grandfather william arthur george married to magaret rutherwood she was from greenwich area
anyway thats my lot so far still early days!
i would be great to hear from anyone who can help shed any light on the aformentioned dates and places are one thing its putting a more human side to things with stories photo's etc.
