Hi Julie,
Thanks for the reply,
Michael was born in Peckham 1926, Frederick lawrence Clerkenwell around 1890, and Robert , also clerkenwell around 1860/1870.

I will try and confirm these dates. i started donig this about 5 years ago, and what with the arrival of grandchildren etc it got pushed to the back.

Thanks,
shaun

Shaun,

On the 1851 census there is Robert Couling born Clerkenwell abt 1846 with parents Henry and Margaret. Henry is on the census image but has been missed off the indexing .

Hi Julie,
Been in the loft and found my old notes.

Everything you have found is correct, Henry is the the one i was looking for, born 1801 ish.

according to my notes, we got really stuck on him, and could go no further.

Thanks for your help, i will start trying to find Henry...
