Has anyone come across any of their ancesters that have had their occupation stated as "cowboy" on the census?

I was just thinking about it today after i come across a USA census today that had cowboy for a occupation. Wondered if it was like in the western movies for them:confused: Saloon bar fights and other saloon bar activities and what about shoot outs:eek:
I was raised watching cowboy movies, maybe i seen to many of them:confused:

Gibbo, what are these "Graham's" like? I wouldn't dream of employing innuendo to score points, but that's perhaps because I went to Church twice on Sundays and becoming a pillar of society!:2fun::2fun::biggrin::biggrin:

Your thread was perfect in its entirety.
