Hi I,m new to FHUK and wondering if there,s anyone out there who can help me find more about my Craig family in Lanark. Just a warning, there,s millions of Craigs there. I,ve gathered a lot of info but still looking. Before I start posting info I thought I,d ask if anyone was willing to help.
I have my branch back to my gggrandfather, George Craig, who married Janet Patersen in 1811 in Hamilton Lanark.I have the latest who married in 1911, and have sent for the childrens birth certificates. Hoping to find living rellies. If anyone thinks they could help or has any knowledge of Lanark, I,d really appreciate it.
Have subscribed to Scotlands People and found a lot there but there,s still a lot to be found other places.
