Looking for Henry Critchley 1805, his wife Alice 1804 daughters Mary born 1832 and Ann born 1840, some where in Lancashire either Newton Le Willows or St.Helens as I have found the family in 1851:
RG HO107 Piece 2202 Folio 167.

Did they have any other children before Mary was born ?? as yet unable to find a marriage for the couple.

Looks like this was a second marriage for Henry. If you look at the original 1851 then the age of Ann is more like 4 making her born around 1847 In the 1861 census she is born 1845

So in 1841 we have

If you are looking for a mother you need to find Ellen as the only marriage I can find for a Henry and a possible Alice is J-Sept 1850 at Prescott, Lancashire 20 735 tho the 7 is not clear.

If you are descended from anyone other than William, 9 in 1861) Ellen is probably the mother.
