First hour and half today was great Test cricket.
Good bowling, resilient stand by the 2 batsmen which lasted until after tea.
Then the wheels fell off the poms and Hussey & Haddin clocked up the runs.
Haddin went for 135 & Hussey almost made a double ton, out for 195.
The barmy army finally had something to sing about:)
Easy picking with the tail enders.
England came out, first ball to Strauss I thought was an lbw, appeal turned it down...phew.
It was a cauldron at the GABBA late in the day.
Smashing stuff, love it.

I hope you are okies Steve :)

I agree the morning session was some of the best test match cricket for some time, brilliant bowling especially by Anderson and some resilient stubborn resistant batting from an Ozzie who was said to be past his sell by date

Tomorrow England's turn for a high score. Means I shall be up all night again!!

Day 4 at the Gabba.
England batting just brilliant. The Army were in fine voice and why not?
Strauss made 110 stumped, Cook also made a ton not out 132, Trott on 54 not out.
A valiant effort.
This has been for me, one of the best matches to watch and it's why I love Test cricket:)
