Sometime after the 1911 UK Census a number of the DAVIS clan, originating in the Longton area of Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire, UK, went out to Australia.
They were Mary Ann DAVIS (1858-1948), a widow, and her children Minnie DAVIS (1879-1938), Harry DAVIS (1889-1964). One of Mary Ann's other married daughters Florence BENNETT (1884-1953) may also have left the UK at the same time with or without husband Charles BENNETT (1886-1961). Alternatively Florence and Charles BENNETT may have emigrated at another time. They all ended up living in NSW.
I do not know their port of departure or arrival, nor do I know the dates although since Minnie died in Australia, the departure date would have been before 1938.
I'm hoping for any information regarding details of their departure and landing. Any other details whilst in Australia would be a bonus at this time.
Thanks for taking a look.
