Death for Catherine Beattie

[Baldy]

I am looking for a death for Catherine Ferguson Beattie.
She was born June 1888 in Salford.Lancashire.England

Her parents were Thomas Beattie & Elizabeth Grierson

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

Hi Baldy,

Did a search of the freebmd and only came up with one death for a Catherine Beattie that fitted with the year of birth you gave & it is in the same area. I stuck to the correct spelling, but I'll try other spellings to see if anything pops up & get back to you.:biggrin:

December quarter 1906
Catherine Beattie age 18 Manchester vol 8d page 166

I searched from 1888 - 1920 there are not many births transcribed after that date as it is an ongoing project.

You would have to order a certificate to be sure.

I did not try that site--but will do so.

She is like the Scarlet Pimpernel

I do have a photo of her,but,looking at the photo she appears to be about 20+--then again I suppose looks are deceiving
