Hi,
I have a Jane Ann Delaney born 1862 Ireland. She is on the UK census as married to a Daniel Driscoll. We cannot find any marriage record for them in the UK. If they married in Ireland is there any chance i can check this without a town name or area. The census just states that Jane was born in Ireland. They would have married around 1880 approx. Would be greatful for any tips that anyone may have.

Hi Ben

I was actually tracing Daniel Driscoll, Jane's husband. I wanted the names of his parents and as there are 2 Daniel Driscoll born around the years he was born 1855/56 Deptford i dont know which one is the right one. I thought if i could get a marriage cert. for Jane and Daniel it would have his parents names on it and as no one has been able to find a record of marriage in the UK that they may have married in Ireland. On the 1881 census they lived at Sayes Street Deptford and the eldest child was 1 month old when the census was taken. Maybe they didnt marry??? I have no idea what his parents names are so even if i order both the birth cert for Daniel i still wouldnt know which one would be right. Any suggestions??? thanks

Hi Gibbo

Have you looked at the birth indexes on Ancestry for any Daniel Driscolls born in Kent in the 1850s?

I may have found more info on Jane Delaney's family on your other post about the Driscoll/Delaney marriage.

Ben
