Hello can anyone find out what is in the following
Griffiths Value in land and estate
relating to
Denis Allen in the county of Dublin Belview parish of St Catherines 1854

Hi
It looks like Denis leased a house and an office from Thomas Hallion also a few other gents. Denis appears to also have lodgers.
The valuation is the rateable value etc of the property.
This was in Belview, Usher's Quay Ward, St Catherine's, Dublin.
Someone else in the forum will be able to help more than I can.
Not familiar with Griffiths.

You can also check to see how long he lived there by using the revaluation records (which are not on line). Each property was revalued at regular intervals and when the occupier changed that was noted. The revaluation books are kept in the Valuation Office Dublin.
