Deridisi Family- Naples

Hello,

I am searching for information on the Deridisi family from Naples Italy.

My great great grandad Carmernie Deridisi born 1870 - 1931 came over to the UK via ship (unsure of year). My nan Helen Deridisi child of Albert Charles Deridisi born 1919- 1978 is desperately trying to find information on her family. Google searches are proving difficult. We would be interested to know any additional information on the family including pictures (if there is any) birth/ death certificates etc...

I can see that a Carmine Deridisi married a Mary Christy in 1899 at Holburn. When Albert was born in 1899 Christy was his mother's name. If you buy this certificate from gro.gov.uk using the numbers 1B 1410 and the 4th quarter of the year 1899 this will give you his father and her father which would be a start.

Carmine is Cormine Deritis the 1921 census and is at Battersea. His place of birth is not given. There is also a person on Ancestry who has a tree with him in it but no further back than Carmine and no parents.

Thank you, Antonio was my nans uncle , I managed to find a picture of carmine online and have contacted the person who uploaded it, just hoping for a reply! Really would love more info on what year he came to the UK and more information on their time in Italy, my nan has very little information about her family

thank you, this is my nans dad Albert which we already have information on, my nan loved her dad but he sadly passed at 59 from a heart attack. We’re looking to find out more information on his dad carmernia but it’s seeming impossible as he came over to the UK via ship, we’re trying to look for background information on his time in Italy before he came here

I can only suggest buying birth and marriage certs, and possibly death certs, for the surname of Deridisi, and variants. This may turn out expensive, and hopefully most will PDF's, which are cheaper.
If the certs go back far enough you may establish when he entered the country and possible parents etc.
