I can't find a marriage that fits for a Marian/Marion and I can't find baptisms that fit for Archibald and Margaret.

So far I can't find the family in 1841 or any of them in 1861.

If I have the right Archibald he was a stoker in the merchant marine.

Dunno Geoff.

I think Archibald was born Edinburgh, Midlothian so tried to find him in 1851 and that was best found so far.

Can't prove it's the right 1851.

Cecilia was born Torryburn, Fife and if Archibald was born Midlothian why marry in Alloa?

If Archibald remarried then this fits for the 1881 posted.

FreeCEN has zero coverage for Clackmannan in 1861.

Only 2x trees, one may be of use.. It has the marriage and says that the info is from the GROS, it says his parents are Archibald Dewar and Allison Douglas.

No Dewar baptisms in Midlothian that fit after that marriage.

Does not fit. Dewar there would be maiden name not married name from an earlier marriage.

The only Archibald found in 1851 is the weaver ruled out.
