Hi everyone,found this and it is a nice account of old and new.
All the places are doumented and many come with photos....so for example Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese pub where Dickens frequented can be seen....hidden away
Somerset House i visited a few times when young to look for records...used to be the main place and i tried to find my adopted brothers records there.
Some great photos and explanations for place names and some good old maps.
