Divorce in 19th Century

Loyal Member
dovercourt but born Enfield
Hi All
I was trawling the net yesterday and found a link to a rellie saying that they had divorced and were remarrying.
I found the petition to marry on antree and it said that the divorce was granted on 2 feb 1868. I thought as divorces were somewhat rare in the 19th century, I would search for any newspaper articles about it but none found so far
The first marriage was between Jane Ann Murray of Liskeard and Edwin Johnson Hicks, the second marriage was to a John Wills Sambell.
Anyone know of an online newspaper archive!
