Hi All

I have been searching for such a long time now for the birth of my grandmother Dorothy Miriam Huggett and my grandfather John Henry Evans with scant information and no luck!

The earliest information I have of them is from their marriage certificate when when they married on August 31st, 1915 at the Holy Trinity Church in the parish of Bromley Common, Kent. It gives my grandmothers age as 22 years old, a spinster, and her father was Edward Huggett (deceased) who was a labourer. My grandfather was aged 30 and a soldier (not surprising given the times) and his father was John Evans also a soldier. The address given was the same for both of them, 34 Jackson's Road, Bromley. Dorothy died aged 38 in the February of 1932 in a hospital in Maidstone and my grandfather died 3 years later in 1935 in Cradley Heath (the Black Country) leaving my father and his siblings orphans. My father and his siblings all died in their 40's and 50's when I was rather too young to ask relavent questions about the family.

Would anyone be able to help please?
Regards
Julia
