Looking for a Death for Kate Doyle. She was born in Ireland, unknown date. Her maiden name was Donellan...... She married Thomas Doyle at Coolgardie, Western Australia, in 1895. They then lived in Kanowna, W.A.Thomas was once Mayor of Kanowna, Abt 1899. He died 1905. I think she died around 1940-45.

There is only one Kate DOYLE within 1940-1945, in 1944 reg dist Perth. Also checked under Kathleen & Katherine and she used these names for her children's births.

Hello crankypants.
Thank you for that site you sent me. Didn't I find some skeletons.!!!!!
I didn't know Kate Donellan was in Broken hill, before going to W.A..
She was supposed to have have a monument erected in memory of her husband Thomas Doyle. It Was Either in the grounds of a church or a convent, that is something else I'm stuck on...
Thank You again......Christine.

Hi Christine

Sorry I just noticed the circumstance of his death, I'm wondering was there a monument at all, perhaps not in a church or convent, somewhere else!!!
Was this a family story told to you.

cheers

Hi crankypants.
Yes.. Thomas did commit suicide. I heard from an old relative who is no longer alive, that Kate Doyle put a monument up in his memory.
My old Aunt told me this years ago, I'm sure she said in the grounds of a convent or church...... I have asked other relatives in W.A. they didn't know.
Christine.
