If anybody requires a look up in the Parish registers in the area of Headington to Bicester to Aylesbury to High Wycombe and back down the M40 corridor to Headington, please ask. Most villages within that area, and a few outside, are covered.

These are varied registers from just weddings/banns, to all BMD's from around 1500 -1901 and 1540 - 2002. Again years will vary.

Also Oxford Parish Marriage index 1530 - 1837.
Just ask, and I will be pleased to have a look. Please check your road atlas/map for the area.

These were given to me, and it's only fair that I should share them with anyone who needs them.

Dear Steve

Could I please impose on your great kindness again and ask if you come across any info
On the Bustin family to let me know. Also I would like to know where my grandmother ANNIE BUSTIN
Is buried. She was living at Binsey when she died in the second quarter of 1914 the death was
Registered at headington. Aged 34 I have tried e mailing the Oxford family site but to date no reply.

Thank you so very much

Hi Gwenyth,

Not much luck. Found these burials:-

Ann B Bustin 9th Nov. 1834 Infant. Beckley Cemetery

Frederick George Thomas Bustin. 27th May 1933 Aged 64. Rose Hill Cemetery. occ. Shopkeeper.

Annie Bustin 1st Aug. 1935 Aged 69. of 86, Magdelen St. occ. Widow. Rose Hill Cemetery.

May be registered at Headington but buried closer to home(west oxford). My records just don't stretch that far.
There are not many entries at all for your Bustin's, which is good. As they are easier to find.

Hi prisboy

Do you have any PRs for Twyford in Bucks at all? I am after the full details of a George Brain marriage to Sarah Gray in 1810.

Is there any Inkpen baptisms, marriage or burials in Oxfordshire please?

Hi Steve

I know that Inkpen is not a very common name in Oxfordfshire and I am trying to establish a possible Dorset or Sussex connection. I look forward to what you can find.

Also, my ancestor Hannah Woodcock nee Robins was aged 60 in the 1841 census of Bletchingdon, Oxfordshire and said she was not born in county. She had married Thomas Woodcock in 1800 in Oxford according to research and was born in about 1780 but she died in 1846. In 1841 she was a schoolmistress. I have tried other Robins in the area not originally from Oxfordshire to see if they are related but cannot yet seem to pin down a possible birthplace.

I'll have a peek for Woodcock and Robins and see what turns up. Bletchingdon is just out of of range, but there might be references as to place of birth in marriages etc.
You will need to be patient, as there is loads to go through. But please keep reminding me, as I get easily distracted.:)

Now where is my platstacine.

Ben

Hi Benny,

All Inkpen marriages in Oxfordshire. 1538-1837

William Inkpen -Jane Coley(widow) married at Oxford St.Peter. 29/11/1765

William Inkpen - Elizabeth Reeves. married at Oxfrod St.Giles. 03/02/1789

(Possibly related) ^^^?

_______________________________

Eliza Inkpen - Thomas Beesly. married at Oxford St.Peter. 17/06/1821

Jane Inkpen - Charles Bossom. married at Oxford St. Peter. 21/07/1770

Sarah Inkpen - James Smith. married at Oxford All Saints. 22/08/1819

_________________________________

And your Hannah Robins - Thomas Woodcock. married at Oxford St.Mary Magdelen 05/11/1800

There is a whole A4 page of Robins (female), and there will be more than likely a load of Robins(male).
How far do you want me to go.

So far, not many details as to place of birth/residencies.

Hi Steve

Thanks for the Inkpen information.

If you could note all the male/female Robins marriages from 1790 to 1810 please if there is not too much to upload?

Do you have any burials for Oxford city at all?

Ben
