Many thanks for the reminder that I haven't posted on the forum for a while but have been searching for the Holcombes in the USA, they were very prolific!
Am looking for details of Edith Emma Coomber b.1883 Westerham,Kent.She was the daughter of James William Coomber 1861-1933 of Sevenoaks,Kent and Elizabeth Julia Bateman 1862-1935 of Edenbridge,Kent.
She had 8 siblings,Thomas,Jane,James,Jonathan,Christopher,Ernest,Frederick (my paternal grandfather) and Albert.
I have her in the 1891 and 1901 Census living at home (Westerham,Kent and Addington,Surrey respectively).After that the trail goes cold,talking to the few family members that may have known anything about her has drawn blank.
Any suggestions or information about her would be appreciated
